DESIGNER SERIES: LET'S TALK STYLE - TRANSITIONAL

We’re excited to bring you our new blog Design Series: Let’s Talk Style! This week, we’re talking Transitional, but we’ll go over multiple design styles in the next few months, so stay tuned.

This series will help you better pinpoint and understand your design vision, and it’ll show you how to bring each style to life with cohesion, while teaching you the design terms industry insiders use.

Let’s get started!

Transitional

Our fearless founder, Betsy, likes to call transitional style “comfy contemporary,” or ‘updated traditional.” It’s a mix where old-world meets today. Think of it this way, transitional style is perfect for the person who is tempted by the contemporary but is afraid the design will make their space feel too sterile or cold.
