Our designers have worked at high-end places (Armani, Thom Filicia, Inc., The Metropolitan Museum, Soho Grand Hotel, etc.) where we spent thousands on furnishings from exclusive boutiques for our clients.
We translated luxe looks to fit our budgets at places like West Elm, Overstock, and Ikea.
Betsy Helmuth, Owner
Betsy is the owner of Affordable Interior Design and a nationally celebrated interior designer. She has appeared on the Today Show, HGTV, DIY Network, CBS, NBC, and in dozens of magazines and newspapers.
Paulina Grzechnik
Paulina holds a degree in Interior Design from The Art Institute of New York City. She also studied Interior Engineering in Warsaw, Poland. Paulina has worked at the architectural and landscape design firm Thread Collective and later at SPArchitects creating interiors that were functional and inviting.
Angela Lutzker
Angela Lutzker earned her MA in Interior Design and Exhibition Design from the Corcoran College of Art + Design in Washington, D.C. She came to Uploft Interior Design after many years in art education, art curation, and entrepreneurial pursuits.
Anita Magyar
Anita brings over 20 years of design expertise to Uploft Interior Design clients. She blends artistic insight with formal training, and Anita holds an MFA in Scenic Design from SUNY Purchase and a BFA in Interior Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Shannon Major
Shannon is a graduate of the Uploft Interior Design Academy with a passion for personalized interior design and organization.
As a former elementary educator of 7 years, she holds a unique skill set that allows her to create functional and welcoming spaces for people of all ages.
