In-Person & Virtual Site Visit Frequently Asked Questions
- You’ll review the questionnaire, discuss your style, and any special considerations.
- Walk the space to be designed with your designer.
- Your designer will measure the space (and items) and draw them in her floor planning software (in-person plans only, your designer will have this ready if you booked a virtual plan).
- You’ll discuss your wants and needs for the space.
- You’ll also compare your layout options (for example, sectional vs sofa + love seat).
- You can add on additional items to your Makeover Plan at any point during the design process. Just let your designer know and she will add them to your shopping list.
- You can add on extra time to your Makeover Plan and have your designer design smaller areas that don’t require floor plans, i.e. hallway or entry way.
- The designer may not have enough time during this appointment for additional spaces. Let us know ASAP so that we can ensure our schedule allows for extra time. You can also add on time at a later date for these areas.
- If you want to add on a room to your Makeover Plan, you can let our office know ahead of your appointment, or if you are unsure, you can discuss that with your designer during your appointment.
- Your designer will work on the design for your space!
- You’ll schedule your Reveal Call with your designer about 2 weeks after your initial meeting.
- Certainly, if there is something key to your designs you forgot to share with your designer. Ideally, email her within 24 hours of your meeting to catch her before she starts making selections.
